Before deciding to lose weight there are many questions that must be answered about: What is my desired weight? How much weight do I wish to lose? Am I losing weight for health reasons or just for vanity? Will losing weight help me reach my goal? How will I feel when I’m there and how soon can I achieve my goal?

You can find many thousands of different weight loss/fat burning programs on the internet. A program may work for some and not for others. A program may focus on exercising, or basically on exercise with minimal other changes such as limiting your calories & eliminating carbohydrates. Other Programs may focus mainly on reducing your calories by depriving you of certain foods or foods that have no nutritional value. These programs can cause you to give up on the program rather quickly if you don’t agree with the diet or your results are not the same as mine or the other’s.

The best method for losing weight is the natural way. Natural healthy food such as lean meats, vegetables, fruits, fish, seeds, nuts, water etc. When you eat this kind of food you are going to realize that you have been wasting years eating the wrong foods. These foods use energy to digest them so your body will burn fat and calories as you eat your food and while you sleep.

In addition to healthy foods eating habits there is the crucial part about exercise. Exercise is critical to achieving and maintaining healthy weight. Exercise is a feeling good drug for me. I hadn’t realized this growing up. I would workout 3 times a week and not be sick. This was because I was eating healthy foods and exercising and I had motivated myself in the past. I would have read the journal everyday and would tell myself that I was doing such a great job, i would feel so good. I was keeping my journal too so that I could see a progression in my progress the way I wanted it to. But one day, that journal and I are both sad to say, did not reflect any progress. I was going though the motions, using my journal as a recording device to show progress and to show my progress. And yes while I was showing progress I was skipping workouts. I was not paying attention to my workout nutrition.

So I started doing a new program, a different type of workout nutrition that is so good, that you will lose weight and eat the right foods and the right calories and the right amount of calories. And guess what!!! I really lost weight, and I have been such a mess for so long I don’t want to stop. Why I didn’t straight away tell you about this program? I would have been tried if I did. I tried many times, some totally new programs, but never took action, didn’t see any results, wasted my money and most of caught myself in the mirror, being upset I am not losing weight, am gaining more weight than I should.

Now I am just over six months later, had my baby and my program is working. I have lost about 45 pounds since I got walking and eating healthier foods and feeling better, a couple of years ago I barely played with my 1 month old, haven’t done with my other 1 month old, and have had a lot more energy, a lack of sleep lately, but lots of other great things. So I encourage if you are looking to lose some weight and get healthy, you don’t have to make your life miserable, you just have to take action. Last but not least you have to be motivated and know what you want and why you want it.
