Achieving Optimal Nutrition Through “Juicing”

One of the most wholesome and natural ways to lose weight and improve your general health is drinking natural juice on a daily basis. Should you be looking to lower your blood pressure and blood glucose levels and boost your everyday energy, “juicing” will be your lifelong partner in attaining those results.

Step one is to purchase a good quality juicer that produces a good quantity of juice each time you use it. You want what is referred to in the industry as a “masticating juicer”. This is a machine that will yield consistent juice with minimal pulp. You need a machine that runs at a reasonable speed so that the resultant juice is not too dark and very much like freshly squeezed orange juice from your household refrigerator.

Step two is to decide on a diet that suits you. This means you need to decide on an eating plan that will allow you to eat three well balanced meals a day and a couple of healthy snacks. Choose an eating plan that allows for about six wellsized portions of fruit and vegetables and varies in the amount of protein from vegetable sources. Protein in the form of lean meats, fish, and poultry will help to keep you feeling full longer so that you are less likely to binge eat.

Step three is to begin your juicing routine. Choose a variety of fruits and vegetables that you enjoy and which will give you enjoyment of a positive juicing experience. Avoid juicing spinach and find creative uses for your favorite vegetables such as; cabbage, spinach, celery, cucumber, mint, beetroot, zucchini, ginger, parsley and mixed ways. Be adventurous!

Step four is to research some tasty recipes and make them a regular part of your juicing routine. You should take some time during your juicing journey to experiment with different combination and combination of fruits and vegetables. You will need time to experiment as you will not be familiar with all of the products that you can use. When you have developed some recipes that you are comfortable with, feel free to share them with others. This is a great way to bring your juicing experience to others and help them to live healthier lives.

Step five. Unless you are already serving drinks in the family, start giving away those juicing recipes to family and friends. Try the recipe that you want to try most and then give it away to family and friends. If done regularly, you will begin to feel familiar with many of the recipes that are available. You may discover that the recipe that you want to try more often is one that you had not heard of before.

Step six. To ensure that your juicing experience is not an exercise in futility, consider investing in a nice juicer. What this means is, you will have a regular occasion to enjoy freshly extracted juice. You may even save money over time by doing all of the buying and juicing in the one day. Keep in mind that a juicer that is not freshly used will beeps and noise. However, you will have an experience which is therapeutic and healthier.

Algia or bad experience with juicing?

Let me know and I’ll point out possible causes that may warrant a fresh juicer.

Too much pulp in a juice. Try testing the pulp before you extract the juice. If the pulp is too wet to run through the juicer than you will need to add more liquid.

Not getting enough pulp. The pulp is solid and will be in the juice too.

Clipped teeth or damaged pulp.

Poorly mixed juice. Each fruit and vegetable has a unique taste to pull different nutrients. When you extract the juice from one item, some of those nutrients will be left behind no matter how well you blend everything together.

The juice is too sweet. Extra sugar is not necessary. You can taste the pulp if you are looking for sweetness.

Too dry. If the mixture is too dry you will need to either boost the amount of liquid or add more air to create sufficient volume.

The device does not allow much air. The auto shut off is desirable since that tells you when the machine is finished. If the machine is notAuto SuredAuto shut off is Not.
