I know that it’s tempting to side with the majority and to ignore the science that is out there in the field of eco-health and the environment. Many people seem to feel that it’s too difficult to eat all the recommended fruits and vegetables and to do it the healthy way. While this may be true for most people, I personally think that the average person could eat all the fruits and vegetables that are recommended each day and in addition to that, take supplements to get all the minerals that are deficient in our diets today. The side effects of the typical American diet are severe vitamin and mineral deficiencies, which I feel are getting more important now than ever before. In order to have an alkaline body at all times, the average person needs a good master cleanse to help rid the body of the chemicals and poisons that we are absorbing into our bodies everyday.
To assist the kidneys and liver in this task, my favorite drink is the lemon-lime green-tea, which contains a ton of minerals to help my body counter act the effects of so many of the so called “foods” that we are eating out. This alone will help greatly to get the ball rolling and keep the juices flowing in your system. With all of the detox diets that we seem to read about, you might be asking yourself if it is necessary to detox, or is it better to go to a detox diet and then add the effects to it as you go along.
As much as I would like to take you through the alphabet soup of detox diets to point you to the right one, I would rather just point you to a healthy diet. This is especially true if you are looking to go into a body re-compositioning program. An alkaline diet is the best way to go, and when you are dieting, when you are trying to alkalize your body, the thing that you need most is a good colon cleanse to help you do that. The thing is that most people go to their doctors about gastrointestinal problems that they cannot seem to deal with. These symptoms are symptoms of an acidic condition in the body, and to try to Correct it would require an alkaline diet, as well as taking medications – often prescription drugs can do just that, and you just are not going to be able to do that. However, if you can educate yourself about the importance of a colon cleanse and how it will help you, and then if you can find someone to help you, then you have a very good chance of combating many of the gastrointestinal problems that you might have been experiencing.
Many years ago, I was suffering from intestinal problems myself, it was not my choice to lead me down that path, it was just the way my body was built. I eventually found a medical doctor (because that was the only other choice that I felt worth making at that time), and he diagnosed me with ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s Disease, and micro Eczema. I never really recovered from those three conditions, except for the micro Eczema, which I just seemed to lose all connection with… it faded off over time, and I was back to normal. Until a little over a year ago, when I was searching through my own mind for something else… I found a journal that I had hidden for years. It was left there, and I decided to try to crack the journal and it literally took hours to truly understand what it was that I was contemplating. That is when the floodlight bulb went off and I said, “This is it!”
If you are like me, this may sound absolutely dull and boring, but let me try to make it exciting. In the journal were hundreds of pages of recipes and ideas on how to make them. I started to feel so good that I didn’t want to stop there. I started to wonder, “If there really is only one person out there reading this right now, then who is keeping this food?” The more I thought about it, and the more I read the recipes and the ideas, the more excited I became. I thought that I was really onto something here and that all I had to do was just make it. Today, I am hundreds of times more knowledgeable than I was ten years ago. I spent a few hours today researching for an article on high fiber foods which I will be writing. It is going to be so enlightening to many people of what is going on in the world of high fiber foods. I am so thankful to be able to share it with you.
In conclusion, I would like to point out to you:
