The Health And Organic Food Trend

See the picture on the right. It is a New Year celebration in my family. On Christmas Eve we go to Church and on Christmas Day we go to visit the relatives. About an hour before the visit the local honcho comes to your home. He is a close family friend and drops by your house and offers you some food and drinks. That is a delicious meal right there at your own home. Don’t you feel welcomed and glad to be there?

An hour or so later you will see yourself walking out the door with a large package in your hands, a healthy meal in your hands, and you are already quite full. Maybe a bit full, but you are not going to let on. You have a home cooked meal to eat.

The traffic is bad, but you can see the possibility of a great visit when you get there. Maybe your commute is very long and you have a long way to go. Maybe you have had a long day and had maybe a very exhausting day of shopping or cooking or both. It will be better than ever to sit down and eat a good meal at home. Then you will go out and have a great meal, healthier than you ever had before.

Home food trend makes sense. Whole foods are going up in price, as suppliers deliver by sea, sky, railroads, and now virtually you can buy them right there in your own neighborhood supermarket. Organic foods are going to be like cat food, only better for you and more natural. You will see whole sections of stores dedicated to food and water, two of the biggest lies of the past. One of the biggest lies was that better ingredients produce better products. That is why you see companies like Pepsi and Coke support causes like the Fairencoalition for animals. But at the end of the day its all about the money.

politicians are still looking for a way to provide cheaper energy for more of their constituents and a lot of that through more and more government regulations. But the price of natural gas is so much less than in previous years that even if they increase regulations a little bit more, it won’t be much. People are putting less money into gas because they can’t afford it and that is a very dangerous trend.Geologists are being hired by oil and gas companies to find more natural gas and oil wells. drill more and hold more. In the past, when gas and oil was so much more accessible, drill a little and fill in the seams today and tap in the future. But with the gas and oil companies having to pay much more to protect the environment, and the fact that it doesn’t even cost them much now, why bother? Plus, if they can save enough electricity and gas to have an offset to their carbon footprint, they will, etc., etc.

Arestop isoverall. We need to get serious about cutting it out and replacing it with more water efficient and less water based foods and beverages. Small steps are much better than large ones, and the majority are much less expensive than large portions. Buy less, cook for yourself and even cook from scratch more. Learn to make food from scratch less and buy from the smaller local stores, or from the internet, rather than the large national chain supermarkets.

We are moving away from the mega-sized box lunches, and more and more people are getting traditional meals from home. Home-cooked meals are healthier, they cost a lot less, and can be so delicious! If you’re used to the corporate, boxed lunch meals or the easy drive-through meals, think again! Let’s face it; we’ve all pretty much been trained to accept easy drive-through and pre-packaged foods as a form of going green. So, what do we do in the face of a food culture that is toxic to us?

Book:·Peeling Environmental Tree Cover:Small steps are much easier than large steps. Buy organic and often use home grown produce. When you buy organic fruit and vegetables, don’t buy the ones that have been imported from the states. Even local fruits and vegetables are often treated with longer periods of time for shipping to your local store.

·Local Farmers’ Farmers:Many towns and cities in the US are strapped for resources to have a safe fresh food program. The town may not have the land for farmers to grow fresh foods, but together they can make a difference. The programs are usually seed-licious, and the produce is generally picked that day. In many circumstances, the purchase is direct from the farmers to you. Farmers, who are typically nonprofit, have no stockholders and no rents to pay. Instead, they work with each other, standards are set from locally-owned resources, and they are fairly independent of any larger concerns.
